Who is in charge of your life ?
In this post you will know if you are really in control of your life!
Something that I often noticed in many of my clients and that really caught my attention, is the decreased autonomy that they had when they started the sessions with me. A reduction of autonomy that apparently was imposed by others. But that during the therapeutic follow-up, it became clear that the majority of them built relationships that led them to underestimate themselves and gave away their power (to their partners, friends, family, teachers, colleagues ...).
These women no longer believe in themselves, doubting their ability to get a job, to achieve their goals, to be simply happy.
They feel a low self esteem as soon they experience situations that active childhood memories. Based on that, they feel afraid of taking risks and fighting for their dreams.
Depending on the type of people that belong to their environment, they have more fears to risk and look after for their needs and desires. There is an exaggerated fear of failure, they feel ashamed of being vulnerable in front of others and because of this, they end up becoming dependent on some people.
In the therapeutic work I carry out with women with this profile, I help them to resignify the traumatic connections with the past, to trust more themselves, and to take calculated risks in personal and professional aspects.
If you identify with what I wrote in this text, I can help you to be in charge of your life!
